I’ve been noticing some rough shifts and odd noises from my Jeep Grand Cherokee lately, and I’m pretty sure it’s due to low transmission fluid. But from what I’ve gathered, adding transmission fluid to this vehicle isn’t as straightforward as popping the hood and pouring it in. Apparently, I’ll need to get under the car, locate the fill plug, and carefully top off the fluid.

For those of you who’ve done this before, how did you go about it? Any advice on what to watch out for or how to make the process smoother? It sounds like it could get a bit messy, so I’m hoping to avoid any unnecessary spills or issues.
