Title: What are the bad piston rings symptoms in a Jeep Grand Cherokee?
Linear Mode
#1
Hey guys, I’ve been noticing some weird things with my Jeep Grand Cherokee lately, and I’m starting to wonder if it could be the piston rings going bad. What are the common symptoms to look out for if that's the case? Should I be worried if I’m seeing smoke from the exhaust, or maybe burning more oil than usual?

Also, could rough idling or loss of power be related to bad piston rings? I’m trying to figure out if this is something serious before taking it to a mechanic. Anyone else experienced this with their Grand Cherokee? Appreciate any advice!
