Title: What does eco mode on the AC do in a Jeep Grand Cherokee?
Linear Mode
#1
So, I’ve been playing around with the settings in my Jeep, and I keep seeing this "eco mode" option on the air conditioning. I’ve used it a few times, and it feels like it just makes the AC blow less cold air, but I’m not sure if that’s the whole story. Does anyone know what eco mode actually does? Is it just to save a bit of fuel, or is there more to it?

Also, does using eco mode on the AC have any long-term effects on the car? Like, does it make the system last longer or prevent any issues? I want to make sure I’m using my Jeep the right way, but eco mode just seems a bit underwhelming. Does anyone else feel the same, or am I just missing the point here? Let’s figure out if it’s worth using or if I should stick to regular AC settings and enjoy the cool air.
