Title: What is the Typical Fuel Line Replacement Cost for a Jeep Grand Cherokee (3.6L V6)?
Linear Mode
#1
Hey everyone, I’ve got a 3.6L V6 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and I think I need to replace the fuel line. There’s a noticeable fuel smell, and I’m worried there might be a leak. I’ve called around to a few shops, and it seems like the price for fuel line replacement can range anywhere from $200 to $500, depending on the labor rates and parts. Most of the cost seems to come from labor, especially since they need to drop the tank in some cases.

I’m wondering if anyone has had to replace their fuel line on a 3.6L V6 Grand Cherokee recently? Did you go to a shop, or did you tackle it as a DIY? I’m comfortable doing minor repairs, but dealing with fuel lines seems tricky. I don’t want to make things worse or create a bigger hazard. Any advice on whether it’s worth doing myself or just paying a mechanic? Thanks!
