This might be a little out there, but has anyone tried making a DIY outboard motor lifting harness? I’m planning on towing my boat with my Grand Cherokee this weekend, and I’m wondering if there’s an easy way to rig something up without buying an expensive harness. Is it even possible to DIY one of these, or am I getting into territory where I should just buy the real deal? I’d love to hear if anyone has any creative (but safe) solutions for this.
