Title: Do bigger tires lift my Jeep Grand Cherokee?
Threaded Mode
#1
I need some extra clearance in my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee to have the opportunity to pass some rocky and sandy pathes. Will bigger tires provide me with additional clearance, or I need to install a lift kit?

Bigger tires will give you a bit of extra clearance, but it's usually only a small increase—probably around an inch or so, depending on the tire size you choose. If you need significant additional clearance for rocky and sandy paths, you’d be better off installing a lift kit. A lift kit will not only give you more clearance but also allow you to fit those bigger tires more comfortably without rubbing. Combining the two is often the best way to tackle tougher terrain.
