Title: How do I program Homelink with LiftMaster on a Jeep Grand Cherokee?
Threaded Mode
#1
So, I’ve been trying to sync my LiftMaster garage door opener with the Homelink system in my Jeep Grand Cherokee, and it’s been driving me nuts! I followed the manual step-by-step (or at least I think I did), but for some reason, it’s still not working. The Homelink light blinks like it’s doing something, but then... nothing. The garage door just sits there, not opening, while I’m sitting in my car questioning my life choices.

Has anyone else had this problem with their Grand Cherokee? I’ve heard LiftMaster can be a little picky with Homelink systems sometimes, but I feel like I’m missing something here. Do I need to clear out the previous codes first or hold the buttons longer? Maybe there’s a secret handshake I’m unaware of?

I’m about one more failed attempt away from chucking the remote across the garage. 😬 Any tips or tricks to get this thing working would be awesome! Should I try reprogramming from scratch or is there a sneaky trick to make these two finally become friends? Thanks in advance for saving my sanity!
