Hey, got a 'key not detected' message on my Grand Cherokee, and now I’m locked out of my own car. Super frustrating because the battery in the key fob seems fine (I even replaced it just in case), but it's still not working. I’ve tried the usual tricks like holding the fob closer to the start button, but no luck.
Has anyone dealt with this before? Could it be a problem with the key fob antenna in the car, or do I need to reprogram the fob itself? I’m really trying to avoid going to the dealer and getting charged $100 just for them to tell me it’s something simple. Maybe there’s a quick reset or a DIY fix I haven’t thought of? Any advice or steps I can try before I give in and call the dealer would be super appreciated. Thanks in advance!
