I drive a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee myself, and I’ve found that using regular unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 works just fine for most situations. However, if your Jeep has the 5.7L V8 engine, it might perform a bit better on mid-grade (89 octane), especially if you’re noticing rough idling. I’ve had a similar issue before, and switching to a higher octane fuel actually helped smooth things out. It’s worth giving that a try to see if it improves your situation.
