Title: Will Jeep Grand Cherokee lose some of his powerful engines in 2025? Rumours
Threaded Mode
#1
Just came across some disappointing news about the Jeep Grand Cherokee lineup for next year. According to Mopar Insiders, Jeep is supposedly ditching the 3.6L Pentastar V6 and the 5.7L Hemi V8 in favor of a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder as the standard engine for both the two-row and three-row Grand Cherokee. Yep, you read that right—the only engine option for the Grand Cherokee L might be a 2.0L four-cylinder. I’m honestly shocked and a bit let down. I was really hoping they’d bring in the Hurricane inline-six, especially after last year’s strong sales.

What do you guys think about this? Anyone else bummed by this change? Angry Angry Angry
