If you’ve got issues with your Grand Cherokee’s PTU, you’re not alone. I’ve been hearing a faint whining noise, and I’m wondering if it’s the PTU on its way out. Before I dive under the hood, does anyone have tips on diagnosing PTU problems? What should I listen for, and is this something I can tackle at home?
