I’ve done a few oil changes on my 2014 Grand Cherokee with the 3.6L engine, so I can help you out. The exact oil capacity is 6 quarts, including the filter. One thing I’ve learned is to pour in about 5.5 quarts first, then check the dipstick. You can top it off slowly from there to avoid overfilling. Make sure you’re on level ground when checking the oil level—it makes a difference!
