Okay, Jeep owners, I’m looking for the best DIY bidirectional scan tool to use on my Grand Cherokee. I’ve seen some fancy tools that claim to do all kinds of cool diagnostics, but I’m not looking to blow my budget here. I just need something reliable that gives me a good read on engine codes and maybe a little more. Any recommendations? Also, if anyone can explain what “bidirectional” actually means in layman’s terms, that’d be awesome, because I’m still kinda scratching my head on that.
