Title: Why does my Jeep Grand Cherokee jerk when braking?
Threaded Mode
#1
Lately, I’ve noticed something a bit worrying with my Jeep Grand Cherokee – whenever I brake, especially when slowing down for a stop sign or red light, the car jerks forward. It’s not a smooth stop like it used to be, and it feels like the brakes are grabbing harder than they should or maybe something else is going on. It’s pretty annoying and also a bit unsettling, to be honest.

Is this a brake issue, or could it be something else, like the transmission or ABS acting up? I’ve heard it might be related to warped brake rotors, worn-out pads, or even a vacuum leak, but I’m no mechanic, so I’m just guessing at this point. I’m hoping it’s not something super expensive to fix, but I don’t wanna leave it unchecked and make things worse either. Anyone else experienced this with their Grand Cherokee? Any suggestions on what I should look at or try before I take it in for a full inspection?
